Comic Relief
Well done everyone
With your support we raised a fantastic £483.70 which includes the sale of red noses and everyone came to school wearing red clothes. The school council ran a poster competition to promote Red Nose Day and the winners were announced in last week’s assembly. Well done to all our winners and to Lucy Stokes who was the overall winner. Thank you to Miss Proctor and our school council for organising the fundraising activities.
Haiti
Some pupils in Year 6 have asked if we can hold a Non-Uniform Day to raise money for the people of Haiti. We all agreed this was an excellent idea. On Wednesday 27th January we held a Beach Day and raised more than £700. Thank you for your generosity.
BBC Children in Need Appeal
We raised £374.05
Positive Attitude Week 16-20th November 2009
As you will have been aware, last week the children were busy doing a whole range of activities promoting the idea of keeping healthy, happy and safe.
Many thanks for your generous donations for badges and non-uniform day. The photograph of all 9 badges shows what a brilliant range of ideas went into the designs. We have raised £374.05 and all the money has now been sent to the BBC Children in Need Appeal.
A special mention to Alex and Thomas Spooner. From their photographs you will see they made Pudsey biscuits for their classmates to share. Also pictured here is Peter Roberts who raised money by deciding not to go on the computer at all last week. Well done Peter, thank you for your generous donation.
Guide Dogs for The Blind
Each class collected copper coins for Guide dogs for the blind. The coins were laid out across the playground and measured.
Thank you for collecting coins and supporting this charity
