Downham School is part of the Ramsden Heath, Downham, Billericay and local church community. These are some of the ways in which we are involved with these wider communities.
Downham School PTA
This is an active and very successful group who organise a large number of events throughout the school year. Last year these included discos, shoe sales, quiz nights, bouncy castle fun days and the Summer Fair. The PTA raise significant funds for the school and recently handed over £20,000 to pay for refurbishment following the recent building work. Last year the Summer Fair alone raised £4,500!

It allows teachers and pupils to work together on specific aspects of education and share knowledge and learn collaboratively.
