at Downham School 
This is a special time of year for us all
but as a Church of England School
Christmas is especially significant.

St. Margaret's Church (Attendance by ticket only) 
 
Wednesday 16th December  Christmas Dinner
 
Friday 18th December  Last Day of the Autumn Term
 
Everyone at the school would like to wish the wider school community a very special Christmas and a Happy, healthy New Year.

Christmas Card Postbox

Forget the Royal Mail - at Downham you can send Christmas Cards to other Children and staff at our school.  No stamp required!


All you have to do is:

  • Write your card
  • Put it in an envelope which is clearly marked with the name and class of the person you are sending it to.
  • Put it in the post box in the entrance hall.


Our Year 6 pupils will try to sort and deliver all the cards as quickly as possible but we cannot guarantee next day delivery!

This year we are putting on 3 productions for parents and friends of the school.  Times and details are below, tickets are available from the school office.
