Making Pizzas
As part of the ‘Around Europe in
30 Days’ project, we wrote
instructions for a perfect Italian pizza
and designed our pizza toppings in DT.
Finally, we got to make them during
the last week of term and put our
measuring maths skills to the test.

Marc Chagall
We spilt Marc Chagall’s famous
‘Paris Through a Window’ painting
into 9 equal sections and split the
class into groups of three. Each
group had to emulate their section
of the painting using either paint,
collage, pastel or coloured pencils.
Data Handling Alfresco
Class VB used the playground resources
and P.E. equipment to find the mode
and range of a set of data.
Bright Day
Everyone in the school, dressed
in luminous colours to raise
awareness for Brake,
the road safety charity.
VE Day Party
Classes VB, CW and RP celebrated the end of our World War II topic by holding a VE Day party where we sang, ate, drank and had a good time. Happy Half Term!
Anderson Shelters
PE Bridges
Some children from class VB working in pairs to create low, medium and high bridges using different parts of the body.
Chelmsford Police Museum
Class VB and CW went on a World War II trip to Chelmsford Police Museum. We experienced what it was like for a child to live through the war and we experience a real life air raid situation in an Anderson shelter.
Every child in class VB presented to
the rest of the class for two
minutes about themselves using props.
