On Going Homework

• Spellings: Practise the spelling Sheet sent home each Friday
• Tables: Practise the tables set. 
• Regular reading on your own or with an adult (This should be each night). 
• A piece of written work based on our work in class (set on Friday - due on Wednesday).
• A maths worksheet based on our class work (set on Friday - due on Monday).
• Practise learning to tell the time.  Revise quarter to times then practise 5 minute intervals e.g. 5 past, 10 minutes to, 5 minutes to.  Can you tell the time to the nearest minute?
  
• Help in the kitchen.  Cooking is a great way to practise maths as you need to measure ingredients and work out the finishing time.  You could double all the amounts for a recipe for 8 cakes to make 16 cakes.  What would you do if you wanted to make 4 cakes?
  
• Look at your efolio page for activities on the internet that your teacher has identified to support you in your learning
